Coconut Palm Syrup

We developed this recipe to create a more versatile vegan substitute for caramel syrup.
Coconut palm syrup is a sweetener with a low glycemic index and contains no refined sugars, artificial sweeteners, chemicals, or preservatives.
It's made using organic coconut palm sugar and water boiled together until it turns into a delectable toffee-like consistency and color.

Ingredients
| 400 g | coconut palm sugar | |
| 200g g | water |
Directions
1.Whisk ingredients together and bring to a gentle boil.
2. Once it reaches a boil, simmer on low for 5 minutes.
3. Keep an eye on the simmer at all times to avoid burning the sugar. Stir frequently.
4. Once done, scoop out any foam.
