How to Make Negroni Gummy Bears (From Scratch)

After the great success with the Cold Brew Negroni recipe for Negroni Week 2016, I wanted to do something more playful for the following year. At that time, I was obsessesed with Haribo gummy bears, so the inspiration was obvious.
In this guide, we'll make 3 different gummy flavors:
- Traditional Negroni
- White Negroni
- Cold Brew Negroni
Sidenote: Please excuse the lack of photographs in this guide, I lost them with an old iphone. I have since embraced 🌦The Cloud as a backup.
Equipment You'll Need
• Baking sheet or a large plate plate.
• Sauce pan
• Whisk
• Neutral oil spray, like grapeseed or vegetable oil. I like to use a Misto. But you can buy an already packaged neutral oil spray at any supermarket.
Ok, now...I below are the three flavor recipes. You'll find the cooking directions at the end. These directions are the same for the 3 recipes.

*Note: Once all the ingredients start to get hot, you'll have to scoop out the bubbles produced by the coffee concentrate.
Directions
The following procedure is the same for all the recipes.
- In a sauce pan, add all liquid ingredients.
- Set stove to medium/high, and heat the mixture, but you don't want to bring it to a boil.
- Turn off heat once you see bubbles start to surface. Remove sauce pan from stove.
- Evenly disperse the gelatin powder all throughout the surface of the cocktail mixture. Let the powder sit over the liquid for 1 minute. This process is called blooming.
- Whisk the gelatin into the liquid until fully dissolved.
- Let mixture sit for about 5 minutes. We want the mixture to cool down a bit so that it's not too uncomfortable to handle.
- Place gummy silicone mold over a tray or plate. It will make it easy to handle. Lightly spray oil into the cavities of the mold. It will make it easy to remove gummies.
- Using the pipete included in the gummy bear kit, fill the mold with the cocktail mixture. From here one, you'll have to work fast, but don't sweat it.
- Place the tray with the mold in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
- Pull out gummies and store them in a dry container. Keep refrigerated.
- Consume within 7 days.
Once finished, store them in any container you like as long as they keep refrigerated. Eat responsibly!
