Oak Chip Infused Coffee Old Fashioned

This is a flavor enhancement on the traditional Cafe Old Fashioned.

It adds more vanilla notes, and the chocolate bitters compliment the flavors from the oak chips.

Prepare sous vide bath at 160 F.

For service, we pre-batched the cocktail as follows:

Dose all the following ingredients in a 32 oz mason jar or a freezer zip lock bag.

On a scale, measure:

Instructions

• Make sure the sous vide bath has reached 160 F.
• With all the ingredients in the mason jar or bag, submerge into the bath.
• Bathe for 2 hrs.
• Strain into a clean and empty container.
• Congrats, you just made a Oak Old Fashioned mix.

To Serve

In a rocks glass:
• Add two dashes of chocolate bitters.
• Add 4oz of Oak Old Fashioned mix.
• Garnish with a trimmed orange peel and a Luxardo cherry.
