Mint Honey

Mint Honey

This peppermint and honey syrup is a remedy for the cold, dark days of winter as it is sweetened with wholesome honey and not refined sugars.

Mint Honey was developed as a year round syrup that can be used during summertime (cold brew, iced teas) or winter (lattes and hot teas). The honey base really helps round up the peppermint flavor .

It's the perfect occasion to procure some local  honey.

Notes

  • Ensure you are using a peppermint extract not peppermint oils. Pure oils are too potent. I like Watsons as a natural extract.
  • Avoid using a darker honey, as it will overpower the mint.
