Sidecar

Cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon, shaken and served up, sometimes with a sugar rim. A brandy sour in a tuxedo — tart, warming, and timelessly elegant.

Sprinkle sugar on a small plate. Lightly wet half the rim of of a coupe glass with a damp paper towel. Dip the moistened rim in sugar to coat. Add ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into the couple glass. Add garnish.
